Spotting a polar bear swimming or on an iceberg can be quite magical and we go to another well hidden place were the polar bears are known to be. Seals are common, and wild birdlife can be fun to watch from the ship and onshore. When ashore, we can expect to run into foxes and other animals.

We recommend to book an hour in the ice watch tower for sightseeing.
We arrive in Nansen Fjord around noon and will cast anchor by a small deserted island and go ashore for a fresh hike and sightseeing of the deserted weather station.

There is a lot to see for the next days of this tour. Every day is filled with new experiences. In this part of the world nothing is for sure and we could have to make changes on the tour in line of Sea ice.
Icebergs
RIB boats
For the next couple of days, we cruise around the Icefjords on an icebreaker and stop at interesting places. We go out on the RIB boat and the Zodiak to cruise among the Icebergs and go ashore in a few really interested places if the conditions are right.
Polar bears
Sailing along the east coastline, experience it from the sea, and go ashore to discover this pure and attractive nature up close.
Even though nothing is sudden we will most likely experience whales from a short distance and spot polar bears.
If the ice conditions are in our favour of us we will sail up to a place where the polar bears are known to be in quite some numbers.
Unicorn of the sea
Also depending on the ice conditions we aim to get to the icefjord where Narwhal gather for mating. This very special and unique whale that some call the unicorn of the sea is a thrilling side to see.
